Refund Policy

Flowers Online New Zealand

At Flowers Online, we take great care in preparing and delivering fresh flowers. Due to the perishable nature of our products, our returns policy is outlined below.

This policy operates in line with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ).

1. Change of Mind

  • We do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind.

  • Once an order or subscription delivery has been processed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.

2. Perishable Goods

  • Flowers are perishable items and cannot be returned once delivered.

  • Variations in colour, flower variety, and arrangement style are normal and do not constitute a fault.

3. Damaged or Faulty Flowers

If your flowers arrive damaged:

  • Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery

  • Include clear photos of the flowers and packaging

  • Email us at hello@flowersonline.co.nz

Once reviewed, we may offer (at our discretion):

  • A replacement box

  • A store credit

  • A refund for the affected delivery

4. Missed or Failed Deliveries

  • Flowers Online is not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete address details.

  • If flowers are left in a safe place, the delivery is considered successful.

  • Re-delivery fees may apply where applicable.

5. Courier Delays

  • While we use overnight courier services, delays can occasionally occur.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by courier networks, weather events, or circumstances outside our control.

  • Where delays significantly affect flower quality, please contact us and we will review on a case-by-case basis.

6. Subscriptions

  • Subscription payments are processed prior to dispatch.

  • Deliveries already processed or dispatched are non-refundable.

  • Future deliveries can be paused, skipped, or cancelled in accordance with our subscription terms.

7. Gift Cards & Gift Subscriptions

  • Gift cards and gift subscriptions are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.

  • Gift subscriptions are valid for the selected duration only.

8. Consumer Guarantees

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
If a product does not meet acceptable quality standards, you are entitled to a remedy as provided by law.
